Dear Mama,
Thank you for the blessing of being my mother, for the love and guidance you gave me all through my life. You were always there for me, the constant in my life. I still cannot imagine a life without you in it.

Your unwavering faith, love and total dedication to God through the Lord Jesus Christ was truly admirable and one you passed on to your children and grandchildren. Our hope in God is renewed even as we acknowledge our loss.

As I bid you farewell, I know that one day we shall meet again in the place where the sun never sets and there is neither pain nor sorrow.
Rest on sweet mother, in the bosom of the Lord.

Your daughter,
Gbende.

Darling Mum,
Words are not enough to express my gratitude to the Almighty God for blessing us with a rare gem like you as mother. You were a Mum, a friend, a teacher and encourager and above all a good disciplinarian. All the values you thought me are forever which I am also passing to my children and children.Mum you also taught us to put all our hope and faith in God, we should respect men but put all our trust in God. One other important thing is that you are a giver especially to the needy.
Mum the parting is painful but we take courage in the Good Lord. Pls rest in the bossom of your maker til we meet on the resurrection morning.
Like you made us promised, we shall remain in the Lord our God til the end just as u did
Farewell Mum and Rest in peace 🙏

The one and only F. M. GEORGE, my sweet darling mother, still can’t believe it. My consolation is that you are resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ, whom you worshipped day and night. I am privileged to have come into this beautiful world through you, the values and teachings you embedded in us as your children will forever remain with us and passed on to your grandchildren, great grandchildren and generations. Remembering the memories we made together, the funtimes, the great and beautiful life, never a dull moment with you.
A great prayer warrior which you insilled in your children. Thank you for the unconditional love you gave me, always there to listen to me. My beautiful mother, gist partner, my fashion consultant, counsellor, mentor all rolled into one.
Never thought there would be a day I would have to do this, I thank our God, Lord Jesus Christ for the fulfilled life he gave you. Darling mother, continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord

Deputy Iya Ijo General (HMCL), Iya Anjola-Oluwa

Dear Mama,

Your death has created a vacuum for us and what a loss! Only God knows why He has called you at this time and we will miss you, but must give thanks to God for your well-spent life. As such we have faith that you are in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I remember how you embraced me dearly like your beloved biological child when I was ordained as Deputy Iya Ijo General. I pray your loved ones who are left behind will continue to experience the love of God in all that they do and may His Grace abound infinitely in their lives.

From Deputy Iya Ijo General (HMCL), Iya Anjola-Oluwa
